About "Crafts and Stuff"
As many craft addicts know, our hobby is an expensive one. This website was created as my husband has given me the ultimatum - "try to get some revenue out of your hobbies or start channeling your time to something more productive." Don't get me wrong, he is supportive but just feels that I should be at least sharing my joy with others.
Please do bear with me as I experiment with a number of aspects rather unfamiliar to me: 1) Setting up a website 2) Taking photos of my creations 3) Finding something to write about.
On the "crafts" part of the website, I am thinking that it will include many of my hobbies. This ranges from Origami, Beading (Jewelry Making), Knitting, Crochet, Cross Stitching, Friendship Bracelets and whatever else I can get out of storage. As I have just moved, most of my things are still in storage and hence the first few posts will be on "new things". The two balls and scarf you see at the top of this page were done over the past few days. The pact with the hubby is that once I am able to proof that I am sharing some of my hobbies with the world, he may consider giving m the storage space needed for all my stuff (they could then get out of storage) and maybe even my own sewing machine. I currently have an "antique" Singer foot pedal machine handed over to me by my late grandma. While it is great, a modern electric one will be fantastic.
As for "stuff", well i am a person with many many hobbies ranging from boring stuff like reading to more interesting things like trying out new activities such as Bungy Jumping, Diving, Water Skiing and the list goes on. I will try to slowly but steadily build on my interests and share it with you.
I hope that you will enjoy my site as much as I have enjoyed setting it up. Comments are always welcomed on how i could improve it!
By the way, I am not a brown toy poodle, thats just my mum's doggy :D Aint he the cutest....
